About StuartWebsterDesign

StuartWebsterDesign combines design and artistry with the splendour of nature to create exceptional environments. Founded in 1996, we are an established landscape architecture firm which strives to create outdoor spaces that are unique, elegant and enduring. We use fine materials, architectural elements, and ornamentation to build timeless and innovative signature works that bring harmony to the landscape.

Our team is comprised of highly creative professionals who have a thorough understanding of landscape and garden design fields and their processes. Through years of specialized study, both here and abroad, we have nurtured our skills in landscape architecture and construction, project management, and horticultural maintenance. Over the years we have distinguished ourselves with clean, simple and original designs.

We believe that our clients are partners in the creative process and, regardless of the project’s size, we search for clients who share our vision to achieve timeless simplicity in design and who have a commitment to excellence.

Our firm has won numerous garden awards, including the prestigious Milan Havlin award in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2021 by the Association of Professional Landscape Contractors of Quebec (APPQ), as well as the 2011 National Award of Excellence for Residential Landscape Construction/Installation, significant in that it is the first time it has been bestowed upon a Quebec-based organization.

Born in Sherbrooke, Stuart Webster graduated from Princeton University with a B.A in Art History. He then went on to receive a Diploma in Garden Design from the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in London, England. Stuart has since become a member of the Quebec Association of Landscape Architects (AAPQ), the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA), the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and has recently become one of the first Green Roof Professional (GRP) in North America. Based in Montreal, the firm is currently working on a wide range of projects that we design, build and maintain throughout the province of Quebec.
